I think being a tow truck driver would be so awesome. Before I die I hope to own a rollback or a full on tow truck. It is not awesome. lmao

next weekend I think I can go take another look and maybe just grab it if it looks good. I'm pretty sure it is the worm drive because I specifically remember the gearbox orientated differently than other winches I've seen. Also I remember it's definitely a Warn not Ramsey, had the big red "W" logo on the side.

The ones I used always used the PTO.
89 2dr 3.0 AT, manual hubs. 33x12.5 MT gen 2 coils,Cranked front tbars Dons rocker protection, Front/Rear Bumpers. ARB rear locker, 2" BL, Beefed up skid plates/trailing arms. Gen II uca, 2 Bouncy seats www.youtube.com/TagGeorge

Those are usually on the heavy duty trucks, we have them on our rolloffs. Nothing beats a hydraulic winch as far as power and duty cycle but the worm comes closest and is the best winch for 4wheeling period.
