Many of you remember Berkeley Johnston....

Long time San Luis Obispo resident, Berkeley Johnston, collapsed at his home last Wednesday evening, Jan. 6, 2010, stricken by an apparent heart attack, and was unable to be revived.

Wow.. I never met him but certainly remember him on the wire. IIRC, it seems he simply stopped posting as much at least here on the Mod forums.

It's sad I didn't get to at least meet him either since I've been to SLO so many times since I've been on the wire.

I remember Berkeley from days past. That's a true shame, and a heatbreak for his family. They'll be kept in prayer.

To top it off he leaves pretty much his entire family including mother and father. He was only 46. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

EDIT: I'm not sure about their financial situation but from loosing my own dad this past year I do know a funeral is $$$$ (easily over $20k! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/zombie.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/zombie.gif" alt="" />).

If any of you can donate money to his family it might be very helpful at this time of grief. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Holy cow this is just awful! Berkeley was such a great guy to his friends and family and 4Wheeling buddies.

I am so so sorry to hear this.

My thoughts are with Berkeley's family. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
