It's probably been beaten into the ground, but I'm on Facebook too.

Search: johnnybfrompeoria

And I'm the only one who will come up. Not like anyone cares...

If you want your Facebook profile to have your 'special' name in the address, just check out this article:

Facebook and You...Make It Ever So Personal

It's really simple. And loading pictures... so simple and fast. Identify the people in the pictures and it lets them know when you did it. Lots of features. Free.

And totally annoying, overall. People from grade school will find you. They will post pictures from when you jumped off the roof, broke your leg and the bone stuck out.

I'm kidding. But beware.

Try this:

I do have a rotating "news" display with the link.

Yes, it should be listed in a FAQ.

When I walked into the office to be hired my current job, the VP turns one of his monitors toward me, and has my facebook profile picture blown up on his screen(it was a pretty retarded picture) and asks "ok, first things first.. who's this?"

Whoops.. company owner just walked up behind me, forgot he's in the office this week

Now that's funny exactly why I don't have a profile picture

I don't use my real name or any real photos of myself on Facebook. I got really tired of Google plastering my personal information all over the internet for all the world to see.

Not that it has slowed them down, at all. I still find my name on Google searches for Facebook.

With very few exceptions, my Facebook friends are my real friends also. Time scatters people to the far reaches of the world, and it's nice to have a place where they can find/be found to share (some) common interests.

Kind of like here.

I was chatting on Facebook yesterday with a friend from grade school/high school and college. He's a Major in the Air Force in Afghanistan right now. Kind of hard to drop in and chat in person.

To each their own, I suppose.

Yeah, it's cool that I can keep in touch with buddies from elementary school, college buddies, and Army pals. Not so cool when the old flames want to be friends (well, the wife isn't so keen about it).
