Getting the Wheeling Fever
Just purhased a 95 LS and noticed in the center counsel a button that states A/T Mode what does that button do? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Normal operation in the center position.

Power mode (lights up in the dash center, in green), holds shifts to a higher RPM, the more you press the gas, the higher the shift point. Also downshifts earlier, I believe.

Hold mode (again, lights up green in the center of the dash), starts truck from a stop in 2nd gear. Useful in slippery/snow conditions. All other functions normal.

Did the LS only come with the Limited slip or do they have a locker rearend. How do I tell what I have? Vin number, tag on rearend, no Orange sticker on the door pannel like I have on my 88 GEN I., button on dash?

Body Damage is Cool
If you have the locking rear axle you will have a switch on the dash below the left side of your stereo labeled "R/D Lock".

And if it doesn't have the locker, is it an LSD?
