I'll have a set of front and rear 4.56 diffs with truetracs as soon as I get some stock thirds from this other guy to put back in my truck.

So are you going back to 4.30s with 35s or just finding more power elsewhere? Brew

toyt100- where are you located?
Brew- I'm selling my truck. So I'm scavenging stuff off it that I can easily sell separately that people don't seem to want to pay extra for or even care about in the truck as a whole. The built 3rds should be something I can sell pretty easily and they have far fewer miles on them than the truck itself.
And not that I don't like my T. I just want to upgrade and get a 3/4 or 1 ton diesel I can slide a camper into and tow all my toys with at the same time.

I hate to hear it but understand your logic. I've actually been considering a diesel in some form but am waiting anxiously to see what the release of the Mahinda TR40 4x4 Link will do to the mini or these days midi-truck market. I'll never need more than a 6000# puller and my last tank of winter fuel got me 14mpg avg. I'm also no mechanic and need to be able to pull into a dealership for service. I can handle minor stuff but if I'm 500 miles from home and something major goes it will be a long wait for parts. My four-wheeling tastes these days run more towards a UTV or Argo and I can tow them home if I roll or break. A 2nd gen Mahindra (w/manual locker) or diesel Taco DC would suit me fine. Brew

DC Tacos are nice, but I not real fond of the American built Toys as far as quality. That Mahindra looks interesting. Maybe it will shake things up for the better?
Toyt100- I'm in Northern California. Two way shipping would probably kill the deal. 1-way might be worth it since the built 3rds may be valuable enough.

$5000 with the stock gears back in it, $6000 with truetrac 4.56 diffs. The truck is just broke in- only 276k on the odo.
