2 suggestions:

1 - Call the shop that did the work
2 - run smaller tires

Check to make sure your clutch bracket isn't cracked; that'll cause some sticking; not uncommon, esp if you're heavy footed with the clutch.

then:

then read this:

Be sure you read the yotatech thread too.

Smaller tires, what?? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

What do you mean by sticking clutch? You press the pedal down, and it sticks to the floor? If so, its either your clutch master or slave cylinder. Go ahead and rebuild/replace BOTH. They are cheap.

That won't fix it. Just go get the gears anyway! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Gears have absolutely nothing to do with it. Either do tires <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Your clutch hydraulics are bad. I had the exact same problem. I rebuilt my clutch master cylinder. Didn't fix it. I then replaced my clutch slave cylinder and problem solved.

You want 5.29 gears with 35" tires.

A new master/slave will fix your problem, trust me.

My clutch MC is aisin and slave is autozone both at 2 years old. Think i should switch back to an aisin slave?
