well i guess ill start out with that mine is completely stock. Wanna put about 2in lift nothin to big, maybe one with longer shock travel. No body lifts. For the front, complete suspension rebuild i guess, coil and stut(or shock, dont know what it really is). And for the back i heard you can use coils off a TJ. But i dont know i guess thats about all i can give you if you need more i can always look at truck.

And I do plan to stick around, only forum i can find for Kias. They are like a hidden diamond. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Body Damage is Cool
This forums is the best place (maybe the only place) for sportage info.

If I were you I would get the RockSportGear suspension lift.

I know you said you only wanted like 2 inches of lift but dude... you would be very happy with the rocksportgear lift. It just looks so cool. Throw some 30" tires on there and you'll be set (I say 30" because with that lift, and those tires, you don't have to do any extra work like fender trimming).

Might want different rims though. This info is all in the threads and I can't remember it off the top of my head.

BTW if you don't get or can't get the rocksportgear lift, the other option that is really good is the upyourkia spacers. Those work well and I'm sure you can get 2.5" or so from them or more, I don't remember how much. Again, it's all in the stickies.

Just to give you an idea, this is how your Kia could look with just buying 3 things and for not too much money (ignore the roof luggage carrier and bumper those cost extra):

1. Rocksportgear spring lift kit: http://www.4x4wire.com/forums/showflat.p...;gonew=1#UNREAD

2. 30x9.5/15 mud tires: http://www.treadwright.com/shopnow/product/tabid/61/productid/4/sename/30950r15-mud.aspx

3. 1.25" Spydertrax wheel spacers (to reuse stock rims: http://www.spidertrax.com/s.nl/it.A/id.2287/.f

That's all my friend! Just 3 purchases and a little work. Doesn't it look WAY nicer than stock? And way more capable offroad already.

All together it's about 900 bucks to get the rig to that point.

Another cheaper way would be:

1 - Upyourkia spacers (not sure what price is)

2 - Aftermarket rims with at least 7" backspacing

3 - 30x9.5-15 tires or 31x10.5-15 tires with fender trim and bashing (whatever cheapest tires you can find are, maybe used)

Getting the Wheeling Fever
Correct me if I'm wrong, but as of a couple weeks ago, RSG is no more.
