I have a 95 4cyl long bed t100. I'd like to convert it to intermittent wipers (right now it only has off,low/hi speeds). There is a an extended cab 97 t100 at a local junk yard. if it has intermittent wipers, what parts would I need to get from it to make mine have the intermittent speed function?

If like some of the older Yotas, you need the wand off the steering column, and the wiper controller. On the older rigs, that usually lived up above the ECU in the pax-side kick panel. Green.

Should find it in the right section here; bookmark this:

It should only be the wiper/washer combo switch/stalk (has relay/controller built-in fer the intermittent part). You'll probably have to git the entire turn signal/cruise/wiper setup as I'm not sure how easy it is to separate. The wires fer all the steering column harness is bound together. The wiper switch is attached with 2 screws.

The wiper motor is the same whether you have the basic or intermittent setup. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Just be careful when yer working with the airbag clock spring... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Hey dere, yeah, I went digging a little in the FSM after posting, and was wondering if that wasn't so.

Hint for pulling wands- if there is a printout of the connector it goes to, take it with you to the junkyard, along with some masking tape and sharpie; mark the wires to correspond with the connector, or at least make a crude drawing with the wire colors.
