If the yoke is rocky, the seal won't seal up, or last long. Either the yoke is worn on the splined surface, or the tcase output shaft housing bushing is worn, maybe both. The yoke material is softer than the bushing, so hopefully the yoke is worn on the splines. OK. I'll start shopping for another flange. I guess a Gen2 or montero sport from an auto will work??

I had the bushing replaced a couple years ago. Try Omega Machine in Sacramento , CA. They pressed in a bronze bushing with all the proper lub chanells machined just right. They only charged $60 plus $10 shipping. Only took a couple days, too... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

I mailed them the rear cover and a slip yoke. They probably know which one to press in now , so just send the rear cover. I see if I can find my reciept to give the part number.

Most of the time oil leaks past the welch pressed into the slip yoke. If you have replaced the double lipped oil seal and it's still leaking I'd be sealing up the uni joint end of the slip yoke with some epoxy. I had massive trouble with one years ago and it turned out to be this. You can also remove the spring from the oil seal and cut a little off to increase the clamping pressure around the slip yoke if it has worn a groove.
