Getting the Wheeling Fever
Haven't posted here recently. The 90 LWB Monty is running great, thank you very much. I am noticing more noise from the front end recently. Because of body roll squeaking I got a can of silicon and started spraying and rocking the front end like a mad man. All the lube points including the Ball Joints got massive lubing when I got the Monty in 06.
It had 74000 on it when I got. 30 grand later the Ball joints are still dripping new grease. Any other known squeak generators other than the Ball Joints. Like the shocks. I still have factory shocks. Spraying suspension hinge points on the frame with silicon spray seemed to help the body roll squeaking. At least now the dogs don't hear me coming home until I'm in the driveway. Thanks in advance for any input.

May be time for new ones. Those are 20yo shocks!! I like KYB's myself but off road and they are stiffer.

As for the squeaks... check your sway bar bushings.

Check the upper control arm bushings, too.

Thanks for the tips. I hit the wishbone hinge points on the frame again. First with TRIFLOW synth lube to see if the noise would be reduced and then with white spray grease. That made a huge difference in the racket specificly the creaking. Less noise now.
