Body Damage is Cool
For you guys thinking about going with an electric fan, you'll need a fan switch and these are the best. There is a ebay site selling them for about $125 with shipping.
Run this with a 16" fan and your in for less than $175 if you install yourself.

If you decide to do it, there is plenty of help here on this forum.

they are good but still to rich for my blood, some of you who have them should make up and sell wire harnesses, other then drilling the hole at the firewall the kit is plug and play. and if it is controled off a sensor at the therm. then nothing to drill.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
I'm definitely interested in doing this when I get paid. I think the electric fan will be the best bet for the summer when I'm sitting in traffic.

BTW, I took the new fan clutch off over the weekend and put the used one on and can totally feel the difference in power and gas consumption. The new fan clutch was just too strong for the car or defective.

I have the Spal Fan-PWM V3.

It's very nice.

Also lazy Bomber I don't need to make you a wire harness, it already comes with one

And yes it is controlled by a sensor on the engine, no holes needed in the firewall except possibly screw holes to mount the little box.
