1995 T-100... 3.4L... 187K miles... Best truck I've ever owned...
However, she's dead in the driveway.... Drove home from work Wednesday night and parked... Had a bad storm on Thursday, so didn't drive the truck... Friday morning... Dead...
Plenty of battery....turns over with gusto... Wouldn't even try to start... No check engine light.... Tried to listen for fuel pump...can't hear it... But understand that would be normal???.. (no sound from fuel pump) Checked for fire by pulling a spark plug... Can't seem to see any spark at all....
So...what next... Hate to just tow it to a garage without trying something... Any help is greatly appreciated...

Sounds like you're on the right track checking for spark and fuel (although you still don't know if you're getting fuel). I'd probably crack a fuel line open to see if you're getting fuel, and then probably just start digging into the service manual troubleshooting procedures: http://www.ncttora.com/fsm/1996/SIL/tech...eg5vzfe/pst.pdfhttp://www.ncttora.com/fsm/1996/SIL/fsm/repair.htmlThat is for a 4runner, but it should be the same. There is also a T100 manual on that site. Its just one huge file instead of broken up.

Check yer grounds...especially the one going to the air plenum and the one going to the left fender by the battery. When you checked fer spark, how did you do it? Did you test it to engine block, the fender or to the negative post on the battery?
I know this might sound stoopid...but do you have gas in the tank? Are there any leaks in there that could let water in? Have you tested the fuel pump?
When you cranked the engine...how long did you crank it fer? More than 10 seconds? If so, pull one of the plugs and see if it's wet with fuel.
Did you check yer fuses? Did you check the fusible links? (AM1 40A, AM2 30A, Alt 80A). Fuses (EFI 15A, IGN 7.5A)

Stupid question, but did you hold down the gas when you were trying to start it over? I am not sure the exact reasons it work, but Ive done it multiple times to many cars..

She's up and running now... It was a 7.5 amp fuse in the inside fuse panel. When I bought the truck, the inside fuse panel cover was missing, so there's no diagram saying what is what. And couldn't find the right info in my Chilton book. Therefore, it took longer than expected to find the problem. The panel cover is now on order at the dealership.
Thanks for all the help, guys... I love my 'lil T-100....

Bet it was the ignition fuse; let us know when your panel shows up

Glad you figured it out. You might still have to buy the sticker for the fuse panel that has the labels on it...

So what was causing your 15A fuse to blow? Just as pertinent as asking about the catlytic converter.
