Just wanted to check out Corey's progress on the Trekker...

But I have a new project ahead of me..

Should be picking up the 98 in a couple of weeks. This will be a SLOW process. I work insane hours, have a very small garage, and I don't even have an air compressor wired at the house.

I hope that's an old pic. Those tires still have a lot of tread on them.

65K miles on it. Dude bought it in PN and brought it back to NE. Buddy picked it up for me and (hopefully) is stripping the body. Likely pick it up on Saturday.

Probably going to take me a couple of months. Heading into the last 1/4 of the fiscal... and my busiest time. And I don't have any compressed air or welding capabilities.

850 miles to Omaha and back to pick up the 4Runner w/ the 06 DC. Avereaged 10.8MPG at 75+ mph, pushing the wind all the way down and pulling the 4Runner on the way back. I think that's respectable. Would still like more power.

Hopefully will get the truck off the trailer today and into the garage... don't want my neighbors PO'd.

E-mailed this thread to Ryan and all he said was "damn he is putting a 3.4 in it, I thought he was going to sell it" I think he really wished he had never sold it!!!!

Tell Ryan that I'll happily sell it back for the right price! And I'll include a 3.4, spare tranny, rear discs, hydro-assist, etc. Happily. smile
