My lift gate sags when I open it and I finally noticed that the bottom pin in the hinge is probably broken or rusted. The top is straight through out the full open and close of the door but the bottom hinge seperates as it opens. I'm having trouble finding the pin on rock and oem websites. I'm thinking that I have to replace the whole bottom hinge. Besides that those of you that have tooken it off, how much does it weigh? Thanks

if this is for the lift gate / back door for a 1996 to 2000 montero full size, i suggest trying jnz tuning. look for it in the oem mitsu part section. then look for lift gate and then under lock and hardware. it should be item 20 and 21.
