Bring it down tomorrow and I'll wire it up for you. And send you home with more beer...

That's who I was going to recommend, too. A little pricey, but REALLY clean and cool stuff.

It didn't happen, I just got to measuring things and figuring how I was going to get this thing welded and a lady friend stopped by... Blew my afternoon away but who's complaining?

I have to find someone that can cut 1/4 inch channel pretty clean and weld the extra metal on the sides.

Hazy, thanks for the offer! I think I have the wiring under control though.. it came with everything I need to wire it up standard, so that's the easy part.. I just need to do some welding

Keith, I thought the same when I read it, but didn't reply.

Brendan, I've got access to a shop with a plasma, a mig and guy who knows how to use em...

I'll be happy to pay him to exercise those skills for a little.

I'm not going to be ready or have the $$ to get up to uwharrie with the risk of breaking something, so I'm going to play it safe and catch the Pittsburgh Penguins game in Atlanta on Saturday.

My plan is to have this truck ready for the Beasley Knob; Georgia trip that is planned in July. Of course I plan to do some other runs.. and probably go down to the gulches here in SC to get the truck a little dirty before I get it cleaned up and ready for paint. Maybe I can bury it just for an excuse to use the winch?

He works for beer and the enjoyment. He's a cop so he has a goofy schedule. My steel for my sliders sat in the shop for 9 months before we got our schedules to line up...
