i wish someone like kteller made a nice DIY exhaust kit for the gen 1 SWB. i crossed my fingers that ansa had one but no dice, just the rear muffler section. the previous owner cobbled together a decent exhaust using what seems like just muffler clamps, mufflers and pipe pieces, but it was all sub-par in the materials department for living near the ocean in NJ, especially after this past winter. it's almost totally deteriorated now, haha.
i guess i'll have to piece something together. i gotta check the cat, i know he got one but i can't speak on the condition until i get under there next.

I spent last weekend doing mine. The one I did a few years ago was definitely a short term effort. One thing I didn't do this time was clamp anything. It's either welded, or a flange union. I also gutted the downpipe pre-cat while I was at it. It took a boat load of time, but I saved a bit over paying someone to fit it.
