My friend has a '96 Cherokee 4.0L Auto with no fuel getting to the engine. I have replaced the filter, motor, and FPR. Is there some line I'm missing to get the vacuum reference for the FPR? Or am I missing something?

It seems to be a problem with Jeeps in general that the grounding systems go away. I had one wrangler that the fuel pump wouldn't work.. I traced (with some help here) it back to a ground that was on the parking brake bracket..
There is also at least one small switch, usually on the fender wells, that must be in working order.

If the fuel pump relay is working, check the pump.

That solved my no fuel delivery problem.

If the fuel pump relay is not working, there is high probability of a ground issue somewhere...
