well guys i am going to be rebuilding my 3.5 v6 i have removed it from the truck and have tore it down it had sat for ten years before i got it the block had got some moisture in 3 of the cylinders and the bore rusted some and when i fired it up the rings wouldnt seal it would run fine but had not much power and when i would drive it it would jerk like it needed a tune up i did all the tune up stuff plugs wires coils packs fuel filter this block only had 40k on it when it was parked what a shame now its going to have to be bored and new ring and bearings ill post some pictures at a l8ter date and time

You may not need to bore it over. Why not try breaking the glaze off with a cylinder hone first, then fitting new rings and end filing the gaps? Stick some new bearings in and check with plastiguage and go from there? Just a thought.

there is no glaze in the bore but there is some mild pitting
