O.K. so it`s been awhile since i`ve been around ...Grand kids and double by pass and a bunch of crap ...So the "check engine light came on " and the dealer stealer says they will have to do an engine annilyss @ the tune of $78.00 an hour , i said i`ll get back to you on that . Once before it came on after a tune up and some service work and the service tech
lifted a little plastic cap up on the dash (1994 montero SR )
and inserted a plastic probe and he said he reset the button .

I can see the cap from outside the wind shield ...BUT HOW DO YOU SEE THE RESET BUTTON ??? anybody got any clues ??
Also anti lock brake light just came on ...anybody know where that brake sensor is ??? thanks <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Glad to see you back. Hope you're recovering nicely from the 2x bypass.

As for how to reset the ECU, did you try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes?

Alternatively you can download the Factory Service Manual from mitsubishilinks dot com.

I'm sure it will tell you there how to reset the ECU.
