Well, got tired of the faded, cracked, and overall junky look of the bumper on my 2 door, so I decided to paint it. I wanted it to be durable but couldn't find a good color match, so was going to paint it semi gloss black. Started sanding on it and realized that this bumper needed some work , and not being in the mood to make it perfect before paint , I took another avenue. Bought a can of Dupli-Color Truck Bed Coating. Just left the bumper rough sanded and sprayed it on. It has a slightly textured semi-gloss finish. It hid the damage on the bumper and was able to paint the entire bumper with one $9.00 can . I think it turned out pretty good. I just went down and bought another can and will be doing the bottom of the doors and fender, giving it a 2-tone look. The stuff appears to be pretty tough. I already scratched it and just touched it up....can't even see where, or remember where. As an added option, the stuff dries pretty fast. Let me know what you think. Looks good, looks like it should have came from the factory that way. I used the same stuff on my new rear bumper. On my steel bumper you can still see a few flaws but not enough to worry about. I took pics but they turned out to dark so when I get better ones I will post them. I also plan on doing the rockers and my front bumper when I get a chance. Post pics when you get the rest done and also post pics on how your duel exhaust is done, that looks cool.

Yes, I would also like to know how the dual exhaust was configured. Looks really nice.

Was having great difficulty with my welder so I'm buying a new one this week. Wire feed motor was surging along with the transformer dying. Muffler is for a 2000 Chevy Camaro. Single inlet, dual outlet. This one was manufactured by Thrush. Bought some heavy duty hangers off a guy in Utah on ebay. Now I just need to remove the stock muffler and put in a pipe with flanges on both ends so if I want I can go smaller than 2 inch if it looses bottom end torque due to too much flow. With the stock muffler still in place it has a low rumble from idle to about 2300rpm. After that it is quiet. Was going to get a piece of exhaust tubing to replace muffler but found out that my mpg's just jumped 2+mpg's!!! Will keep an eye on this and see if it is an anomaly. If indeed it did add 2+ mpg's, I'll leave the stock muffler on. Will update this after a few tanks of gas.

Well, fixed my welder, by buying a Lincoln SP 200. It's a tank but couldn't pass it up for the deal I got it for. Came with 4 spools of wire, several tips, spare wire rollers, and a ton of other stuff. Now I have to get it home...need some ramps to get it into the pickup...sucker must weigh 350 pounds.
Guess I'll have to read the instruction book.

Everet Well, MPG's went back to normal...just must have been driving like an old lady or didn't fill the tank what a goof Anyway, took off the stock muffler and put in a 26" Cherry Bomb Glasspack...just as quiet as the stock muffler. So, put in a piece of exhaust tubing instead of the glasspack and now it's way too loud. Am going to order a 12" Glasspack and install it next week. Will keep you posted on progress. I like the dual exhaust, my single flowmaster and my 215/75 tires brought my mpg to around 18 so you still beat me.
