Hi I'm doing some research for a project. I've been driving around with a tape measure and my eyes peeled open looking for Sequoias but they are pretty hard to come by in this area...

Anyways If anyone knows, I was wondering what the sequoia rear axle housing length is. Trying to see how it compares with the 4runner axle housing length. Thanks.

A buddy at work has an '06, I'll measure his and let you know. It wont be late next week though.

I also have a friend with a 2010, which one were you looking for?

Either way, I pretty much guarantee its too wide for the 4Runner. Your 4Runner is 66.5 inches wide while the Sequoia is 78.9 inches wide. They use the same rear axle/diff as non-trd Tacomas, tundras, and T100s. So, your better off finding one from a Tacoma if your specifically looking for this style diff. Unless your talking about the 2010 in that case I think it uses the Same as the newer tundra, which is a lot bigger.

ya the reason I'm looking into it is I'm looking for something made by toyota with rear disks. i know about the aftermarket kits and there are a few options outside the realm of toyota stuff, I was just pokin around to see what toyota makes now (as far as axles equipped with rear disks) and if I could find a viable option for putting them under my runner. thanks

Body Damage is Cool
FWIW
My '07 4Runner has rear disks.

I believe the NEW style Sequoias are independant rear suspension. Not a full housing.
