Ok 1st of I'm broke right now so I am trying to be cheap. My powersteering box on my truck...87 ram 50...was leaking bad so I found one off a montero...V6...well the fittings are different....the question is could I just block the lines and fill the pump and seal the fittings and use it as non power steering....The old one was leaking so bad I didn't have powersteering most of the time anyway

you might be able to use the V6 pump as trading stock for a 4 banger pump. WHat seal exactley is leaking? IIRC if its just thr front seal, chicago rawhide make s a seal for it, you need to get the part number off of it though.
always working

the seal where the arm goes in the bottom is leaking. I dont really need powersteering so I was wondering if I could put fluid in the gear box and seal it off and not really have it as power steering

That seal cheap and pretty easy to change. Mine leaked, and I got it stopped with ps fluid with stop leak in it, but my leak was pretty minor. No to the gear oil fix - incompatible fluids and the seals will probably seize up.
