I like how most of the music loops through something like Elmer Bernstein...possibly from an old American Western, but I can't place it...maybe one of the Magnificent Seven sequels. I definitely noticed that at 7:03 it switches to the theme music from Silverado (I recognized that right away).

Not sure using it as a climbing anchor is such a great idea. Half-way up a forty-foot climb it could easily dislodge and down you go...with that shovel going where you go while you're still coming to your senses.

I still carry my trusty e-tool in my recovery kit. This one had more "sexy" features.

If you only weigh 75 lbs it's fine for climbing

It's clear to me that the next Great War will be won with the Chinese shovel. It appears that they are planning to conquer France because they're practicing opening champagne bottles in a victory celebration...... or was that a rice wine bottle? And it looks like they're out of pork and headed our way next and plan to eat all of our canned hams.

I think the climbing was practice for getting over the Great Wall on the way to the Great War.

Anyway, the french fry chopping sold me. Why use a lightweight, clean knife when you can use a heavy, dirty shovel to chop potatoes? So simple, a cave man can do it. Russia and Idaho better look out.:o

I want the white artic model. The orange one's paint bled all into the grout cracks in the tile.

I had a great uncle that spent some time with the Marines in Belgium in 1918, and swore by only three things in that little war, the Springfield at a distance, the trench shotgun close in, and the entrenching tool real damn close. That sharp edge is not for chopping trees...

And what's with the guy jumping in the water in the 3 river's gorge dam shot?

I like how twenty or more of the listed uses could have simply been under "shovel".

Sure, it looks cool when those ninjas use it...show a big fat honky swinging it, and it won't look so cool.
