I keep looking at my white truck and thinking how I need to wash it and then break out the black spray paint again. There are a few too many serious scrapes on it.

And I keep looking at the no-progress Hose-B truck, wishing he would just sell me the dang thing.

I took the white Montero to the car wash yesterday and was nicely surprised to find out this wash was free. When I got home, I shook up a can of gloss black and sloppily covered up the worst of the scratches on the plastic and the sliders.

Getting ready for Wednesday's early morning appointment at Toasty's for the rear quarter panel chop and gas tank lift action is today's mission. Before that happens, I have to take the rear bumper off and burn off some gas. I think I'll stop over to Harbor Freight and investigate what's available for some temporary reverse lights to hang off the bumper from the Montero of Justice truck that's going on the white truck. I figure a $20 set of cheap lights ought to do until I grind them off on rocks the next time I go out crawling.

I need to pack up some goodies to take to Toasty, too. I wonder what I can pawn off on him to make him happy, plus clear out my driveway...

And were you actually looking to Tay to make a lot of sense anyway? He's been getting his blood right (a drinking term), so that's like progress.

Well friday i'll be getting a new battery since my alt murdered my optima on the way home from willow springs, since then i've just been getting a jump start everywhere i go. I also installed that radio\gauge combo looks good i need to paint it now and run the electrical so the tranny temp gauge will work, I also need to pickup two more gauges and a radio to fill the other holes.
