Well, my t is getting old, quick. I have an A/T an extra tranny cooler, and the FAL fan to keep the trans cool. Even in the summer my atf never goes over 140. (I put in a temp gauge too) I noticed the shifts from drive to reverse is causing a rather harsh hook up, with a bit of a clunk and sudden engagement. I am thinking about getting the fluid flushed and filled but I am wondering if this is a bad sign....

currently on the list of stuff that has to get done is a new cat, and a reman right axle for the busted cv, and two new tires...

Yep... it was the rear u-joint. the mech (who I seem to like at this point) said the last u joint was shot, replaced it and said all is good in the world... looks like I am getting two more tires, and a reman axle and I am on my way... I have been getting about 75K out of my BFG A/T KOs. Still have some meat left but not much... I am starting to worry that the front end will wash out when it is rainy out

I have not driven it yet, but the mech says that it is a world of difference. I will probably put a big trip on it this weekend and have a full report...
