Need a Spot
I was reading Bill Morgan's article on, overhauling the r151f transmission.
Very good stuff by the way.
http://www.4x4wire.com/toyota/tech/r151f/

I was wondering what the part num. he would have used for his clutch is. the reason being I have a engine and tranny combo that was never sold in north america.

I have a 1993 4runner(Surf) with a 1kz-te (3.0 diesel) mated to a R151F.
This was sold around the world as Hilux Surf.

I have spoken with many Toyota parts guys in my area and have been given the same line. "We look up part on our system based on the vehicle. We cant look up parts for just the transmission."

so heres my issue. my clutch seem good my flywheel (duel mass) seems passable but my throw out baring is shot.

my hope is that the throw out baring will be the same part for all R151f trannys as the fork would be the same.
will the bering be sold as a sepert part or only with a clutch?

What do you think.

Any ideas you have will be helpfull

You shouldn't have a problem buying the bearing separately.
