well over the past 6-8 months i have been rebuilding a sportage and went to register it yesterday only to find out it is a insurance statutory write-off so it can never be registered
here is what it looks like at the moment

no lift just got the wheels of the missus's daihatsu rocky in that pic (30x9.5x15)
they scrub a little on the back of the guard when turning

here is what it looks like with its propper wheels on (yes i know they are too small)

It sucks that you did all that work work on it and can't use it, what are you going to now? Are you going to try to find a non running Sportage and swap everything over? Keep us posted.

2001 Sportage, TJ 106's, Everet spacers and bumpstops, Bilstein shocks on the rear, cone filter, Crager wheels, 235-75-15 Goodyear tires. Custom front winch bumper by Dave Scott. Currently DOA, but it is a work in progress.

i second the switch on dash plate!


01 w/31 in. mtr,winch,elec.fan ,4 in.suspension lift and 4in. body lift,front and rear hitch. NOT ENOUGH POWER so V8 and solid axles coming soon.2013

as you can see i dont need to get another sporty as the white one was the reason i got the other one (it had a slight mishap with another car on the front right side)
