Well we got the lift started. Had to take it into a shop to get it done. I started to take off the sway bar and snapped the nut off, so I had to snap the other side off so I could take it off all the way. Couldn't leave it hanging. So anyhow, the back end got done bur not the front yet. The bolts (Drop Links) holding the fork to the lower arm are seized there. All those Canadian winters. So we had to order new lower arms and bolts. It will get finished the beginning of next week. Looks like a hot rod now...well, as much as a kia can anyhow... That is exactly what I am working on now, My boy took my lower controll arm to his work to press them out and finaly had to just burn them out with a torch. That is why I am looking for new bushings. Send more pics when it's all done.
Good luck, Dennis

I read the sticky but it still left me with questions, did you get your rear coils off any TJ or a specific year, and did you get you shocks out of a 1998 Rav 4. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Was wondering how you ran your wiring to the lights on the rack? How did you seal the roof penetration?

Well for now I have the main wire going to the back and into the hatch channel at the top and working down to the bottom then in the vehicle up to the front and so on. I will take some pics when I can. I wired it this way for now cause I want to be able to take it off when I need to. It's not pretty but it works.
