On a 1997 model Rodeo/Passport:

My rear window shattered in my truck, and I'm trying to put the replacement one on. The problem I'm having is with the boot/seal that apparantly seals where the wires to power the defroster exit/enter the center top of the window (the wires then re-enter the window on either side, just outside of the fascia - those are straight forward).

I can't figure out how the boot for the center/top wires stays in the hole. When I push it in, it easily works itself back out (the window is thicker than the ridge in the boot). To compound the problem, there's a plastic flange/spacer that looks like it goes into the hole as well, and they both don't seem to be able to fit.

Can anyone walk me through what their's looks like? Or post a pic?

This is driving me insane!
