I really hope you have a V8 and truck axles under that thing before you try to drive that... I am a big proponent of the stock drivetrain but even I think your going to snap $hit left and right with those tires. That's not even offroading it too.

Still pretty neat looking.

I rode around for a few days on 37's to see if I liked the height. It was ok, but my next set will likely be 35's. Especially if it's to remain a DD. If it were me I'd lift as little as necessary to get them on without too much scrubbing. Either way, it's going to look great. Just take suspension trail spares with you and the tools to change them...

Fasteddy's advice is occasionally sound...

How about the old days when 31s were daily driver tires? You don't need 35s to pop a curb. I have 31s on my Montero and it still looks good and best of all I still get mileage that allows me to talk myself into driving it places.

I believe CAP510 is running 37's on his stock GenII.

Until I can get my LWB running, this will be a daily driver.

Yes I could break stuff
yes it will be slow
yeah I'll probably get 12 mpg

I forgot the Gen 1 part in my previous comment, my bad. AFAIK 35"s are the largest that are being run on a Gen 1. A bit of a difference trying to spin 37"s with a 2.6 than the Gen 2 V6 options.

The max I am looking at is smallish 36"s with the Q78 TSLs. I almost convinced myself Boggers would work, but the 35x10.5s instead of the 38.5x11.5s. I can't wait to see the truck turns out with 38.5x11.5s. I saw 13mpg mentioned, you are talking more along the lines of 8/9mpg. I get 13 city/16hwy with the 34x9.5s. With those 38.5s maybe 11mpg going down hill and letting off the gas.

I couldn't find a set of 11s that I liked and these 15s popped up 40min away. I'm getting 16-17 town so 12mpg is a rough estimate.
