Greetings, folks!

This board has been an enormous blessing for me, thank you!

I need a snowplow for my 1989 Gen1(?) 3L, V6 SWB Raider. Does anyone have any ideas who (if anyone) might make such an item? I am a LONG way from even a dirt road and have needed a snowplow for ôRebecca the Raiderö for years, but last winter was the clincher (7,500' elevation in the mountains of SE Utah). The Super Swamper TSL-SXÆs were working hard! ;-)

Blessings and thanks in advance!

It's prob going to be a DIY job, OR find one used, and make it fit. I seriously doubt you're gonna find one that fits OEM. You should definantly take some pictures of your truck, homestead, country. We'd LOVE to see this.

Curtis beat me to it on the pictures part. We never did find out what tire you went with after your thread back in 07. I know you were looking at the 34x9.5-15 TSLs, which is actually what I ended up with. What size TSL-SXs did you decide on? And again pictures are a must!

About the snow plow, I have seen pictures of them so they do exist. But more than likely you will have to go the route that Curtis mentioned, adapt a used one to the truck. Best of luck with it! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

I have a 4ft Meyer plow on my 89 v6...it was on my 88 2.6 for 7(?) years. It wasn't a direct swap but wasn't to bad of a cut and weld.

Greetings, folks!

Thanks for your responses! Alas, I must reiterate that I am in a very remote location and dealing with severe survival issues; I cannot always respond promptly! Please accept my apologies and thank you for your patience!

Thank you, Bubba, for your lead! Please tell me what kind of plow it is, ôa 4ft Meyer plowö isnÆt much to go on, especially on a 66"-wide chassis! I found the Meyer Web site; can you offer a model number, description, etc.?

As requested, I have posted two photos of ÆBecca in the old topic at:

Newbie needs help with Dodge Raider (Montero) tires!

Thank you all!

Blessings! I REALLY appreciate your help!!

NO Problem!! We would all like to hear about how you live off grid, and what steps you have taken to get yourself to this point.

Thanks for asking; FWIW, I have updated the ôStatus Updatesö page on LotusDome.com to describe my living conditions (and the accident that got me out here). It can be reached by clicking HERE.

I am very blessed to have been able to build this trailer; regardless of what a nightmare it was building it (and it was a nightmare!). The trailer is a wonderful testimony to the Lotus Dome. IÆm very determined to get the prototype finished some day and then I can market it, begin mass-producing it, and resume useful on this planet again!

(I just wish HughesNet didnÆt have such horrible satellite modem service; it cuts out constantly during the day!)

THANK YOU!

Didn't OldColt use his SWB for plowing? He might have some ideas.
