Thats what I was thinking. They have options too. you can get 4 plug, 6 plug, 7 plug, and "built in converter" i asked JCWhitney about that one. They said if you wanted to add extra lighting for like towing a car with extra lights. so for me I think the 4 plug for $10.99 is for me. i am going to try it and let yall know.

One thing to bear in mind... Overseas the 91 pajero is the equivalent to our 92 montero (gen II). If they are basing their info on an overseas manufacturers info, you may still have to modify it to fit. That said I'd still buy it cause you never know, it may fit.

That is a "typical" illustration. A NA 91 does not have the plugs for that one to plug into. It's a splice installation all the way. And that converter is one to steer clear of, known to short out easily...

Does anyone have the splice diagram ? Just wired my 4 flat and thought i understood the schematics from the FSM. I have running lights but no brake and turn indicators on the trailer. I need to pull this trailer back up the canyon but not looking to attract attention from the Law.
Thanks

Did you splice your wires into the brake/signal lights? That's tha I would do. I'd also be sure to use water/weather proof connectoers and splices.
These contain epoxy that helps seal the connections from water.
Alternately you could trace back from the light to the wiring harness inside and splice in there. You avoid needing the weatherproof connectors.

did you use a converter? You have to use a converter since the monty has separate turn, brake, and running lights, unlike many cars with a single bulb at differing voltages.

I had a chance at the pull a part to get a Uhaul brand wiring harness. It looks like the converter is in the plug. but I think I much rather go with a new one. But I agree a hook up wiring diagram would make things easier or if someone does a nice write up about it. Maybe thats something I can do.
