Thanks to a tip from Toasty, I lit upon an '88 Montero SWB this morning at a local Pick A Part. Here's what I got:
Bouncy seat base...everybody needs one Hood latch Turn signal lens Mid-panel speaker covers Four skid plates Transfer case console Transfer case roll stopper to frame bracket Battery heat shield Belt moldings from 2 trucks, four total. These are the outer window moldings that seal and wipe the outside of the front windows. All of the fuses and the little fuse puller tool A grab handle Lower fan shroud Rear window sprayer nozzle
And a whole mess of nuts, bolts washers and stuff.
$55.

D'oh! Forgot about the power window switches for both driver's and passenger's sides. One of those switches from the dealer = $$ = way more than the sum paid for everything today.

Also forgot about the power steering fluid reservoir breather/expansion line thingy. Yeah, that too.

No sprayer nozzles. Also, no sliding rear window latches. I really need two of those.
The big mystery, to me, though, was the front driver's side quarter window. Mine doesn't have a handle anymore, so it can't be latched. It looked like it was going to be pretty simple to just take the whole piece of glass with the latch attached to it, but I couldn't figure out how to get the stupid thing out of the door. What's the deal with those things?
I need to find a nice set of front seats. The ones that were there were marginal, at best, but better than the ones I have. But for $30 each, they weren't good enough, I decided.
I put the proper center console back in. I got to looking at the Mickey Mouse job HoseB did by putting in the manual transmission console from an '87, and decided it wasn't worth having in there. Then I put in my blue console that goes around the transfer case shifter that I got from the JY...looks spiffy with the grey next to the blue.
I should show you the bouncy seat that was in the truck when I got it. Apparently it had broken at some point, and somebody tried welding parts of it using big nuts as spacers in the sliding track channel. This caused the base to be able to lean side-to-side while I was driving. Not too cool. The JY piece is much better.

Painus in the anus, is all I can say. It's a long frickin piece that goes all the way down inside the door. It incorporates the forward channel for the main window into itself. All the moulding has to come out, vent visor if so equipped, inside door panel, window regulator, up/down window glass, and maybe more. It's been awhile since I've replaced mine. I got the piece from Russell, but you should be able to get it from the yard rig you found. If it were me, I'd take everything that I took off with me in case you break something on yours doing the job... If you just need the latch, there's a little roll pin that you drive out and the whole latch comes off in several pieces. I had to replace the glass channel because some idjit that was washing it locked the keys in it. Bent the latch arm while getting it open. Could've just came and asked for my extra key... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />
Fasteddy's advice is occasionally sound...

What's the deal with those things? Grasscat or Rxinhed can help with this. Hit them up with these questions...
