I finally pulled my ARB snorkel out of the box to see how it would line up with my new fender and general restoration after the roll over. I cannot see how there is any room on the "A" pillar to attach the bracket. Perhaps the roll over squashed my cab too much but the bolt holes line up on top of the windshield trim and I would have to drill through the glass to install it.

How have people installed this snorkel bracket on their T? I bought the Taco version, which will also require some additional pipe from the airbox to the snorkel. Will black ABS pipe fit for that, or did you use some sort of flexible piping like dryer vent hose?

Looking forward to getting the T back on the road after 2 years, been way too long.

Body Damage is Cool
PM'ed you back finally.

For everyone else:
I had to extend the A-pillar bracket by an inch or so to reach the windshield trim. The glass doesn't quite go to the edge of the trim. I remember I 'ticked' the edge of it, but no issues with the glass because of it...the glass has plenty of issues, but not from the install.

I then found it easiest to make a new airbox "feed horn" out of a couple of short sections of pvc and a 90 and found some wire-reinforced hydraulic line with an inner diameter that matched the inner diameter of the ARB supplied piece and the outer diameter of the pvc and made pvc couplings to mate it all together, sealed it all up with gobs of permatex, zip ties and hose clamps and went swimming. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/notooth.gif" alt="" />
