Getting the Wheeling Fever
I just crawled under my truck and couldn't find any wires at all in that area. It's the driver's side, just in front of the rear axle, right?

I was looking over the wiring diagram. Could it be for a rear blower fr a dual AC set up? Would they be prewired if they do not have it?

The hub lock indicator on my 87 uses a similar looking plug. The t-case is sitting on a table at work. I'll be heading to work for a few hours in the morning and will snap some pics of it for comparison. Although that looks a little too far rearward for that. But it's worth a look-see.

Took a look at the plug on the sensor I thought it was and it's 2 wires. The one in your picture looks to be 1 wire? So not likely for the lock indicator.

I have wires running inside a ribbed channel that looks the same as yours. The channel follows the brake / oil lines along the chassis rail under the driver's seat.

Following the wires through, I don't have a connector block, but do have some wire connections up the back of the 'box...

The wires disappear over the top of the 'box - near the inspection panel. No idea what they do up there though.

Hope that helps...

Here is another picture I forgot to upload. I still have not clue what it goes to, but I will be under my truck this afternoon to look around some more.

I looked at it from the other side and the wire is curved around, so it is coming from my rear axle. there is 2 wires. I completely forgot my axle is an SR with an air locker. could this plug be sometihng related to that?
