Getting the Wheeling Fever
This is not so much a question as a comment. My Horn was not working for awhile so I got a new one thinking that would fix it that was a no go. Next I decided to check connections the had power from buttons to horn while i was checking everything out I notice there is a brass disk and plunger with a wire on it (I knew it was part of the horn assemb.) the problem I noticed was the disk and plunger had a gap in it so I figured i could just put a few washers under disk to fix the gap and it worked... Well figured i would pass that on to anyone that can find or afford to buy parts

Body Damage is Cool
Yep, works.

I cut a piece of plastic, from a coffee can lid if I remember correctly.

Traced the brass ring, cut it out, then sandwiched it between the wheel and the ring. My horn would only work in the high spots after using washers.

Also, you can use a "spent" .22 shell, slip it over the plunger. Perfect fit and effectively extends the length of that spring loaded plunger. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
