Once I got everything straightened out I wanted to see where I was at with my pickup. Here are the results: http://i1027.photobucket.com/albums/y333/RalphFoster/dyno3AF.jpg This was done in low range in 5th gear. Actual top speed 59mph. I have the High range 3rd gear and a 4th gear numbers with out the fuel air ratio. Top speed in 4th gear 99mph. I've had it up to 105mph in 5th using a GPS as the speedometer. This truck has a real flat torque curve and pulls good from 1500rpm. The head and cam are from www.engnbldr.com , thanks EB. Their tech support is great. Header is a Doug Thourley, http://dougthorleyheaders.com/ , with a home made 2 1/4" cat back. Muffler is a steel pack from Flow Master. May I add I love my truck

Cool, but i ask, why in low range? It definately should drop your HP numbers (1 because it's not direct drive, 2 because it's an "easy" gear and doesn't put as much load on the motor)... your HP numbers should be higher in 4th gear hi range (not to mention the extra drag) WHat are the peak hp / torque? ANd how about in 4th gear hi range? (99mph sounds like you hit the speed limiter?)

Actually we tested it in 3rd and and 4th gear, high range.
The only chart I have with the A/F ratio was in low range.
I'm trying to figure out how to post all the info so it should becoming soon.
The Tech ran 3rd gear first because said" these engines usually don't have enough power to do a good 4th gear run.
I asked him at the end to do the low range test.
Peak torque in 4th was 123.4 @ 3417rpm Max HP was 93.9 @ 4310 rpm.
The best thing is how flat the torque curve with 110 ft.lbs at just over 2000rpm.
Things start to fall off over 4100 rpm, which is fine. It's what I had in mind when I was buying parts from EB.
I have lugged it down so you could hear each cylinder fire. Like my brothers old army Jeep use to run <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/pfft.gif" alt="" />

Stock 91' 22re 112hp@4600 142lb-ft@3400
with a 20% dt loss (estimated) that's 93hp 118lb-ft... Looks like you've gained a bit of torque and you're making more power than a brand new engine... not bad... good wheelin' motor...

Here is something to compare mine with. http://www.4x4wire.com/forums/showf...;amp;page=0&fpart=7&vc=1Same shop, same Dyno and probably the same Tech. On another note: A friend has a 1989 2wd and a rebuilt 22re engine. My truck has a lot more power than his. He's wanting to do the same Mods. to his.
