Getting the Wheeling Fever
Hey guys my brakelights are out yet the bulbs are good and tailights work when headlights are on. Fuses are also ok, is there a brake switch somewhere in my truck or what else could be the problem? Thanks.

There's a stoplight switch at the pedal. A failing hazard switch can also occasionally cause this.

Fasteddy's advice is occasionally sound...

Thanks hazy, I've looked for the switch down there but can't find anything, is it on the shaft, above the shaft where the wiring is, under the floorboard, etc.. And what would it look like? Thanks.

It's on the bracket. A flat on the pedal actuates it when all the way up.
