I eventually got my rear locker installed. Late years Isuzus have a very unusual unique Dana 44 heavy-duty rear setup, so the locker installation had been a 4-months adventure for me, almost like a second job. Now I'd like to test it. I am planning a test run, close to the home (Bay Area).

I am repeating this run:

Let me know whether anybody is interested.

Oleg,
I'm looking to do something over Labor Day weekend, so I may be interested.

Are you planning a one day or two day trip?

Bruno.

Bruno, I am planning a short "technical" one-day trip, but I am open for suggestions - camping is OK. My wife is in San Diego for two weeks, so I am relatively free right now.

Bruno, this is my site with the Gold lake area link we were talking about:

Oleg,

I'd prefer to do a two day trip over Saturday and Sunday.
But can do a one day either of those days if that's all that you can do.

Let me know which works for you.

Thanks.

Bruno

OK, let's do this in two days : we start Saturday morning, and we will be back by Sunday night. I'll check the latest fire restrictions and conditions. We are heading to the Gold Lake area.

We are going to run two trails: moderate/difficult Snake Lake trail on Saturday, and moderate Gold Valley on Sunday.

Anybody else is joining ?

I checked the current conditions in Plumas and Tahoe national forests (the area is on the border between them). There is no restrictions. Campfires, motorized recreation and guns are not restricted.
