Specs:
4'x8'x2'.
Full boxed metal frame on leaf springs.
Quad lid lifts.
Bike rack holds 4 adult MT. Bikes, and the rear section folds down for ease of loading/unloading bikes.

I built the trailer for my Sister to tow behind her Honda CRV. She no longer needs it, and I have no use for it. The material costs to to build the trailer which does not include the original trailer frame were $300, and a new cheap Chinese frame(4'x8')from Harbor Freight runs $400. Looking for a price range to list it for.

Since pics, I have painted the inside, added a water tight lip, and plan to add front/rear jacks.

It looks like a nice trailer, but it has limited uses since it is a small enclosed trailer. But, for someone who has the use for it, it is probably worth $600-700 I would think. Does it have a title? Some states require titles, and sometimes it is hard to get one for a home-built trailer.
It would make a nice tool box for a small contractor.

Here in CA all you need to title a trailer is a light inspection. The only time I have had any questions from the DMV is when turning a truck frame and bed into a trailer, then they normally ask to see the original title for the frame. If you don't have one they don't care, I think they ask to make sure it isn't from a stolen truck.

I got the original frame(4'x4') w/a rotten wooden bottom and sides, which the PO used to haul garbage to the dumps so it already had a trailer plate, so no further inspection is needed. I extended the frame about 14" to the rear and 20 to the front, which made it a lot ore stable when towing, it doesn't wander around like it did when I towed it home.

I built another one for a friend of hers from work, and charged $1500(double materials for labor and consumables), and her friend thought they were getting a great deal. However, when having something custom made people often don't mind the price, but since it is a niche trailer I knew it wouldn't sell at that price. I was thinking about $850obo, and see if I get any takers. W/the long Labor Day weekend ending, there is bound to be a few people with small/mid size SUV's like my Sister who could use the extra room when going camping.

Where did you pick up the bike racks? I was thinking that might be a viable size for a couple Folbot kayaks inside.

I made the bike racks out of 3/4" and 1/2" galvanized electrical conduit. I like using it for racks(make safari racks with it as well), it is a lot cheaper than aluminum, almost as light, doesn't rust like steel, yet just as strong(for making a rack out of). It welds about the same as any other thin material, but it does create a brighter yellowish light(when you don't grind off the material), than steel, and you have to be a lot more mindful of the fumes. From what I understand, galvanized steel puts off fumes that will/can cause neurological disorders(not permanent)m so you will wan to weld it outdooors. I also run a fan to keep the gasses from moving away from me, even if there is a light breeze.

For something large like a kayak, the 1" conduit might work better for the larger openings you would need to have, and you can still bend it using a manual conduit bender(about $25 for the die, and you need a piece of threaded 1" pipe for the handle). You should be able to put a nice rack together for under $50-100, depending on costs in your area.

That is a nifty design for a packable kayak.

I didn't realize the soft sided kayaks I have scene had folding frames, I thought it was just to make them lighter. I have some friends that have always wanted to take a small boat when wheeling, the two person folding kayak, would be perfect for them.

The Alpackaraft is very popular up here on the more remote treks, and I mean *remote*. Good rafts. I've got my eye on a packer's cataraft right now.
