Greetings all. I know it's been a LONG time since I lurked and posted here. Lots going on in my work and personal life that kind of led me away for a while. I now have a new and intermittent problem with my '92 SR Monty. At times, the compass display flutters and goes away. Like for several days. The backlights always work, you just lose the display. Then, it flutters back to life and it works for several more days.
I checked and cleaned the white connector/pins for the gauge set after removing the trim cover. No problems found.
I can't "tap" fail it either, or shake either the truck or the compass itself to get it to cut out. Was wondering if anyone had been through this before with their SR?
