The head bolts are reuseable and require no copper coat or any other sealant. They do require a torque value of 80 lb-ft, a thorough cleaning of the deck holes with a bottoming tap plus a check for clamping range and a possible grinding of the bolts for any length issues.

thanks guys i am going to replace the head gaskets and head bolts that should fix it i do all my own work so its no big deal thanks guys

I figured maybe it had the British Pipe thread like on the oil filter adapter for the oil gauge. How about some consistancy Mitsubishi?
Well maybe Densmore put metric threaded plug in. Anyway they were the wrong thread. That's not all they did wrong on this rebuldt shortblock,,,that's why they are out of business , I recon...

well guys i ordered all new head bolts and head gasket set along with upper gasket set now i just have to waite on all of the parts to be delivered
