Need a Spot
Ok, I have been searching here and on all the parts websites that say they have AC compressors for an '88 2.6l Raider. None of them match what is in mine. I have a DKS-15BH part number 509640-0304. Most of what I find and even had shipped to me end up having the ports on the top. Mine are on the back and mounting ears go front to back.

Any ideas?

Adding pictures...

Anyway you could post up some pictures of yours and the ones you have been getting? Maybe one of these guys with all the knowledge might be able to recognize what you have. It's an idea!

i just checked my 87. it has one port on the top going to tbe back and one port on the top going to the right side. Not sure on the part number though. sounds like you may need to look into a 87 pump?

This is the one that I bought. Notice the ports on the top.
I will take picture of the one in the truck tomorrow.

My truck is an 88 and I just cut mine out in my alternator replacement adventure. Info on it:

FRONT:
NIPPONDENSO
047300-1960
12v 8G

BACK:
NipponDenso Co. LTD
6P148A 047200- 4990
DENSOOIL 6 76 0774

And on the side it has T 15 stamped on it. As far as where the ports are I guess that depends on what you call "the top". When mounted in the truck if I remember correctly the ports were on the side/bottom. If you set it down on the ground, the ports are on the top. They mounting eyelets are 2 front and 2 on the back, a lot different than that picture.

Don't know if this helps, but that is what I just took out of my truck.

I don't know if this site will be of help but the owner is very knowledgeable and helpful and maybe can source or provide. I purchased shaft seal and gaskets from him to rebuild my Montero compressor.

I say it again, get yours rebuilt. It's a 6p type compressor, which is very common, and the internals should be readily rebuildable.

It seems to be frozen. Any suggestion on where to have it rebuilt or get parts to do it myself? Seems that AC site does not list this one other than gaskets and bearing/shaft seals.
