Got a question for all you monty guys.

Was just perusing ASA and it seems the Montero SR rear brake backers might have the same bolt pattern as V6 Mighty Max backer plates, and could possibly fit the Mighty Max axles.

So If anyone can get a few pics of the backing plates from an SR, or indeed any Montero with rear disc, preferably with bolt pattern info, I'd be stoked! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Would mean easy-peasy disc brake conversion for my truck, using factory parts! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Bump.

It's been 2 months, still haven't found a montero to check this against, seems they're rare as hens teeth in the yards up here in the rust belt.

Any info greatly apreciated.

I've got a whole montero axle in storage ill have to check to see if they will fit on my truck.

Walt, I'll have the wheels off mine in the next week or so. I'll measure the bolt pattern and take a couple pics, if nobody beats me to it...
