Need a Spot

wanted to know what kind of axle anyone has used like off of what or some kind of dana axle. I know there is no bolt on solution and i dont mind starting from scratch, welding, fabbing, and planning just want to know if theres a certain axle to use

do a search on here. you will find a few posts with some good info.

but off the top of my head rokia used a 85 era toyota solid axle, and dave scott used a dana 44 from a old scout i think, might be wrong on that one. but should find for sure in a post on here somewhere. basically any passenger drop axle should work for you, well depends if you care about bolt pattern or not.

i personally went with a custom housing.

good luck. i am hoping to get back at my swap this winter and have her ready for some wheeling next spring.
