Getting the Wheeling Fever
Yesterday while sitting in stop and go traffic my '95 LS momentarily dropped dead. Not only did the motor shut down but ALL powered devices, clock, compass/ thermometer and radio for like 3-4 seconds.Afterwards had to reset radio stations and clock. I whipped it into park and cranked and everything came back as suddenly as it had stopped. Put a real rush in me since I would have been blocking all these people if it had been permanent. My question is alternator? ECU? I want to fix it before it happens again and doesn't come back at all this time.

Body Damage is Cool
Check your battery cable connections - an alternator problem wouldn't cause a complete electric outage, you'd still have battery power even if the alternator quit altogether.

I hope it's a battery connection. Have been so busy that I parked it 'til I can catch a few hours to sort through it. Thanks for the reply!
