how long are lower ball joints supposed to last?

This is my 3rd set already in 6 years! The current set (moog or trw, can't remember) is loose again after only 24000km in 2yrs...(even clunking on the lower right executing a right turn) I don't even drive bumpy road all the time...? Any suggestion for longer lasting parts? These aren't cheap at $120cad a pop...

I just went through something similar with my 99 Runner, where the NAPA parts lasted only something like 47K and barely wheeled.

Bit the bullet and went back to OEM parts; no trouble since.

Probably not what you want to hear if you think $120 is steep.

Is the issue the ball-joints or the control arm bushings?

More than tread lightly. Leave it like you were never there, nor anyone else.
