95 3.0 running real bad, took it to the dealer and he said there was water in the oil, but you cannot see it? But when you loosen & remove the Oil filler cap it will kill the engine. HG going bad?

Milky looking oil is water in the oil.

no, removing the oil fill cap kills the vacuum.
the Positive Crankcase Ventilation.

is your oil milky looking?
you can also pick up a kit to test your coolant for exhaust gases.

In the two HG's that my 22re has blown, the bottom side of the oil filler cap had a milky substance stuck to it. Check that, and that NAPA chemical test kit works great.
