ok as was changing the oil today and looking around i found a vacuum nipple behind the the throttle body or plenum with no line on it at all. problem is i don't know where it goes. has a bunch of vacuum behind. it looks like it goes no where under the hood maybe tranny ? i plunged it off for now seemed to idle better the whole motor is alot smoother and no more bucking up a hill. now pic is not the best took it with my phone and had a mirror on it so i could see it to take the pic. any one got any ideas. Why'd you start a whole new thread and then delete the one with all your symptoms?!? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Not upset... But for future reference, since this is all one issue/problem keeping it in one thread is better IMHO. Future readers can see the evolution of the problem from beginning to end. More helpful that way, you know what I mean?

That said, I hope this is the source of the weird running.

It's been a minute since I tore all that down several times. If I recall though, isn't' there a vacuum hose routing under the hood somewhere?

Body Damage is Cool
Not sure what I'm looking at - is that the firewall behind the vac line connection and is that the EGR line next to it? My only reference is 1992 Model but could be charcoal canister, fuel pressure regulator line or EGR control solenoid.

Is it full or ported vac? I mean, is there vac at idle and at higher engine speeds, or just at above idle? Originally, fuel pressure regulator had a blue stripe hose, intake changeover hose had a black stripe, egr is green, and evap purge solenoid is red stripe.
