Need a Spot
I bought this rig with a rebuilt engine, but the tranny wouldn't shift out of 1st, except rarely, when the revs were through the roof. I replaced it with a junkyard unit, and it does the same thing except it will finally shift at around 5k rpms and it will go into 3rd as well. It shifts a little earlier if the "power" button is switched off. I tried adjusting the "kickdown" cable, but nothing seemed to help. Any ideas? At this point, I'm considering swapping to a 5 speed. Is it a direct swap?

Thanks,

Don

If you don't receive a response here regarding tranny swap, pm "rollintroopers" over at http://forum.planetisuzoo.com/index.php

He successfully performed a auto - manual tranny swap.
